The Western Victoria Sri Lankan Buddhist Association (WVSLBA) was founded in 1998 while the “Paramitha” Sri Lankan Buddhist Vihara (formerly known as St. Albans Temple) was established in 1999. The temple is now located in Rockbank, Victoria.

 

There is a wide range of services offered by the Rockbank temple to the Sri Lankan Buddhist community to facilitate the practising of Buddhist teachings and also to promote Sri Lankan culture, values and heritage.

The Chief resident monk is Ven Pallawela Dewarakkitha Thera

 

This website provides information about religious and cultural activities organised by the temple and also serves as a good source of knowledge for those who wish to read articles about Buddhism as well as listen to Buddhist teachings (Dharma Deshana) in digital format.
